I know it's about time...

All I have to say is I warned you all that I wouldn't be very good at this. I know that I do enjoy looking at everyone else's blogs but just don't get around to it. We have had some fun in learning to work and enjoy mother nature. The kids and I went to help Grandma Wakefield rake leaves and pick up walnuts off the ground. But first we had to take a few pictures before bagging all the leaves. I have to say I was impressed they spent 2 1/2 hours working before they completely quit. The girls are a joy to have in our home. Both are growing up so fast!
Our Ballroom Dancer, Witch, and scarecrow. This is a scary bunch without costume.
Do you ever feel like it just isn't your day? We have had a wonderful but busy fall. I love this season and it inspires me. It is a time to reflect on all that we have and that we are so blessed. I am so grateful for my tiniest treasures, even if they are having a not so great day!
I have to say I love my little boy he makes us laugh and is so cute!!!

Update on us--- Todd is still looking for work but we have been blessed to have had a few odd jobs here and there to keep us going. He is a High Counselor in our stake and I just got called to be Young Womens President in our ward. To say the least we are grateful for our friends and neighbors who take care of our kids every Sunday and sometimes during the week while we are at our meetings. I still love being home with my kids and being a mom and they love having their dad around a lot more. We are so blessed and love our life here as a family. We are excited for this holiday season and we will try to do better about updating our blog (Aaron). Thanks for your blogs that are so fun to read and look at.

Well we knew we wouldn't be very good at this but we'll keep trying. Yesterday was our Nathan's first birthday. That's right it was a year ago that we had our "flippin" baby boy(name given as to how he came). He is growing so fast and is a joy and a pleasure to have in our home. We might have to give him a new nickname "snippy" He has learned if he doesn't want Sydnee to touch him he can quickly try biting her and she will leave him alone. (it only happens to Sydnee for some reason) He loves to climb up on everything now and shake everything.

Kayla started 3rd grade and had a "excellent" day in her words. She is excited to have her friend in her school class. She has grown up so fast.

Sydnee is still waiting very anxiously to go to Kindergarten. They don't start until next week. She gets to go meet her teacher tomorrow. We have started walking to and from school and they both seem to do okay. We are so blessed to have such a cute little family.

Todd made it through while I was at girls camp. Nathan even will go to him willingly on his own now. I made it through girls camp, and still recovering. We are plugging along trying to enjoy every day to its fullest.

Here we go...

The pressure we feel as non-bloggers is too great. Yup, we have finally put it together. Time will be the judge of how well we are at updating. More to come soon...
